Register to visit VCU

We ask prospective students to register online if they plan to visit VCU during their high school spring break. We are hosting extra information sessions for both prospective and admitted students during the most common weeks of high school spring break — April 3-7 and April 10-14 this year.

During these weeks, VCU will host morning and afternoon information sessions for prospective students at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the University Student Commons and the Admissions Welcome Center. Both sessions will be identical. Students and families can register for either of the sessions, so there is no need to register for both locations. Students who have already applied or been admitted to VCU can attend a special information session about the next steps to becoming a VCU student — those will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Welcome Center

Guests are strongly encouraged to arrive on campus 30 minutes before their selected session. Guided walking tours of the Monroe Park Campus will be offered after each information session and will last approximately one hour. The tour does not include a visit to a residence hall, but information about each hall, including general descriptions and floor plans, can be found online. For questions about visiting VCU, contact the Office of Admissions at (804) 828-1222, (800) 841-3638 or ugrad@vcu.edu.

Departmental overviews

Can't come during Spring Break?

We encourage you to visit VCU when it’s convenient for you. Campus tours are held in the Welcome Center at 1111 W. Broad St. Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. except on holidays and holiday weekends. Information sessions are hosted by an admissions counselor and are followed by a guided walking tour of the Monroe Park Campus, which lasts approximately one hour.
