About the tour
An urban campus unlike any other
Attending the 2026 National Speech & Debate Tournament in Richmond? You and your family are invited to join a one-hour walking tour on June 18, 2026, designed exclusively for NSDA students and families.
VCU sits in the heart of Richmond. You'll see popular spots across Monroe Park campus and get a real feel for student life and what makes VCU uncommon.
Tours start at VCU's University Student Commons, a short walk from the Altria Theater.
Tour times available on June 18, 2026: 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. (register above)
What to expect
- One-hour walking tour of Monroe Park campus
- Mostly outdoors; residence halls not included
- Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
Complimentary parking is available at the West Main Street Deck, 801 W. Main Street. VCU staff will validate parking for tour participants.
Can't make a tour? Visit us at the Expo!
Stop by the VCU Expo table from 12–4 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, at the Greater Richmond Convention Center during tournament check-in. VCU staff will be on site to answer your questions and give away some Ram-worthy goodies. Ready to learn more about VCU?
