Please note, registration is limited to admitted students. To register for Preview Day, you must be admitted to VCU and log in to your applicant portal to sign up for your selected date.
Preview Day highlights
Even if you've visited VCU's campus before, Preview Day provides something a little different!
During Preview Day, you will:
- Spend the morning with your academic area
- Tour a room in one of our residence halls
- Be able to accept your offer of admission on-site and register early for Orientation
- Connect with our admitted students and their families
Event schedule
9 - 9:45 a.m.: Check-in (various locations on campus)
Check in directly with your academic department at the VCU school or college you were accepted into. Spend the morning connecting with faculty, staff and students in your learning community.
9:45 a.m. - noon: Academic departmental sessions (various locations on campus)
Noon - 3 p.m.: Student life sessions
Learn about study abroad, summer studies, our Honors College and more!
Parking
Complimentary parking will be available at the following decks:
- Jefferson Street Deck - 100 S. Jefferson Street
- Most convenient to School of Business, College of Engineering
- West Broad Street Deck - 1111 W. Broad Street
- Most convenient to College of Humanities and Sciences, College of Health Professions, VCU Life Sciences
- West Main Street Deck - 801 W. Main Street
- Most convenient to VCUarts, L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs, and School of Social Work
- West Cary Street Deck - 1201 W. Cary Street
- Most convenient to the School of Education
Please note: Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to participate in Office of Admissions-led events and/or tours.
